Bells & Belfries

Over the years we have repaired many belfries. In nearly all cases we are called in because the bell is no longer ringing properly (if at all) and we have always managed to repair this successfully. Sometimes, however, the problem can be that the belry has become structurally dangerous.

This belfry in Falkirk was in need of repair.

The bell did not work, the bell hanger mechanism was in a dangerous condition, and the masonry needed pointed.
This is the belfry after the contract was finished.

The bell was not ringing, the crown stone of the belfry was badly cracked, and the belry needed pointed.
